A few interesting old cars lurk near my place; This nice old mercedes (1972/1973?) which I walk past everyday, and spotted last night - an old american pickup, looking mean.

Ok, so I haven’t posted anything in ages, so here’s what I’m working on at the moment (outside of work). I’m getting to know Blender - An open source 3d modelling / animation / and game logic programming package. I’ve just got the hang of vertex editing. I’ve still got to texture it, but here’s my first attempt, a kind of all terrain buggy / tank. My cousin’s learning game logic at the same time, so maybe i’ll post a quick game here sometime soon. ‘Till then, maybe check out blender, it’s pretty fun :-)

Very much enjoying Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360 today. Always wanted a camaro with flames, now if only there was a cortina in it too… :-)

Interesting selection of cars and a great day out as always! - lots of photos here
The cortina lives again, and is now very clean; Great to see her again after a lengthy garage session.

Hopfields autos in bermondsey did a great job on the strut tops, less so fitting the exhaust manifold - which blew on the way back. I’ll have to look for a performance one this time, it seems to keep going.. only 2 weeks till goodwood, so i’d better get a move on!
very smooth welding on the strut top repairs, i’ll have to have a go at the colour though - it’s a little out.

Interior’s still looking good, just a few trim items to replace to tidy it up a little, though perhaps a rev counter would be nice at some point..
